How Big is Your God?
- Some
aspects of God’s character are indescribable
- In fact if
you could completely describe God by doing so you would make him less God
- The idea
is that some facets of God's character simply can't be described adequately
in words but can, to a degree, be understood in other ways
- So, the
question I ask you this morning
- How Big is
Your God?
- or put
another way, Is your God too small?
- Is Your
God Big Enough?
- Do you
believe in a God that is big enough?
- A God big
enough to have created the world?
- A God big
enough to care for our world?
- A God big
enough to have created you?
- A God big
enough to care for you?
- A God big
enough to care for you, when times are good?
- A God big
enough to care for you, when times are bad?
- Do you
think God is even interested in you?
A.W. Tozer put it
this way: "A small god is the cause of a hundred lesser evils! A
big God is the solution to ten thousand temporal problems!"
